Life after P.G.L.

Firstly, a big thank you to everyone in year 6 for being so fantastic at PGL last week. So many of the instructors commented on how well behaved and enthusiastic you were; it made us feel so proud.

Later this week, we will be uploading the pictures to the blog, for everyone to see.

I am sure that this positive attitude will continue, now that we are back at school and I can’t wait to get on with our learning together.

Today we have begun to look at letter writing, in preparation for entering the Royal Mail Young Letter Writer competition, later this week. The task is to write a job application letter for your dream job, so I hope that you are all thinking about what this might be.

I hope that, like me, you’re nearly packed for our trip to PGL tomorrow!

The forecast for Swindon is looking quite good, but please remember to bring a waterproof jacket, just in case it rains. There may also be some sunshine towards the end of the week, so please pack some sun cream if you will need to apply it.

Try to get an early night tonight, since we will be starting our activities straight after lunch and I don’t want you falling asleep half-way down the abseil tower!

I have attached a copy of the letter and kit list that you were given on Friday.

See you tomorrow at 8:45am

PS Don’t forget to pack something to remind you of home.
